How can you get involved

Just Youth

Just Youth is the go to place for children and young people in Sandwell to find something to do, someone to talk to and somewhere to go. Designed with and for young people, the website provides:

  • Advice, guidance and sign posting on a wide range of topics
  • Finding someone to talk to if they have an issue
  • Finding something to do in their local area or
  • Having their voice heard through a youth forum or group

All of these things and much more can be found on our website! Head over to www.justyouth.org.uk and have a look for yourself!

Listening to the Children and Young People of Sandwell

Sandwell’s children and young people can have their say on issues that matter to them, and the Participation Team will listen to what they have to say, so that Sandwell Council can make things better for children and young people in the future.

The Participation Team runs various groups and events that children and young people can get involved with, which are run in partnership with different agencies and organisations, internal and external to the council:

  • Young People’s Safeguarding Group
  • SHAPE our Future
  • Looked After Young People’s Youth Club
  • Looked After Young People’s Board (11 to 18-year-olds)
  • Care Leavers Forum (18 to 24-year-olds)

The team also help us to get young people involved in interview panels, so children and young people can have a say about who works with children and young people within Sandwell Children’s Services.

If you want to find out more about what the team does, please phone 0121 569 5814 or 07805816215.

You can also email:
